Maha Navami 2022: Even though there are four Navratris each year, Shardiya Navratri is the most important of them all. On the ninth day of Navratri, people worship the goddess Siddhidatri. In religious writings, the unique significance of Shardiya Navratri is described. This holiday will be observed from September 26 through October 4. The day in question this time is Tuesday, October 4. Special Yagya, havan, and other rituals are done on this day. On this day, the Navratri ceremonies are finished.


Maha Navami Muhurat (Timing)

Maha Navami 2022 is the name of the final day of Shardiya Navratri or Navami Tithi. Religious literature has explained the unique meaning of this date.

On Tuesday, October 3, 2022, Navami Tithi will begin at 08:07 PM and terminate at 06:52 PM on Wednesday, October 4, 2022. However, Ashwini Navratri Parana will take place on October 5, 2022. On this day, sunrise will occur at 06:21 in the morning, and sunset will occur at 17:52.

Maha Navami Puja

According to religious texts, Goddess Siddhidatri is worshiped on the ninth date of Shardiya Navratri. Maa Siddhidatri has four arms. He has a mace in the first arm and a chakra in the second arm. There is lotus and conch in the left-hand arms. His seat is a lotus flower. Gods, Asuras, Gandharvas, Kinnars, and human beings all worship him. There are eight siddhis namely Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakamya, Ishitva, and Vashitva. All these siddhis can be obtained by worshiping Maa Siddhidatri.


Puja Vidhi(Worship Method)

  • On Navami Tithi (October 4, Tuesday) of Navratri, put an idol or image of the goddess Siddhidatri in a tidy location. Put Shri Ganesh, Varun, and Navagraha in the same location.
  • Devotees should take a brief shower and dress in clean clothes on the day of Maha Navami.
  • On this day, a lot of devotees do Havan.
  • Present the goddess idol situated close to the Kalash with betel leaves and betel nuts.
  • Light a ghee lamp in front of the idol after making your flower and other offerings.
  • Chant Maa Siddhidatri's mantras as you perform aarti.
  • Bhog is presented to the mother on Maha Navami after aarti and other rituals.
  • On this day, some adherents fast. Many people observe the auspicious custom of Kanya Puja on the day of Maha Navami.
  • Temples are embellished. In various locations, fairs are organized.
