Maa Chandraghanta Puja 2022: The nine-day, auspicious holiday of Navratri is widely observed throughout the nation with much fanfare and opulence. During the nine-day Hindu celebration, the nine forms of the goddess Durga are worshipped. On September 28th, worshippers will honor Goddess Chandraghanta in Shukla Tritiya on the third day of Navratri this year. She is the goddess Durga's third avatar. She has a bell-shaped half-moon on her forehead, which has gotten her the name Maa Chandraghanta.

The ten hands of this goddess are used to handle Khadga and other weapons. While riding a lion, this goddess protects her followers while destroying demons. Drik Panchang indicates that auspicious timing will start on September 28 at 02:28 and conclude at 01:27. (Sept 29). Brahma Muhurta is an auspicious time period that lasts from 04:36 to 05:24 in the morning. Rahu Kalam's unfavorable period is from 3:12 pm to 4:42 pm.

Maa Chandraghanta Puja Vidhi(Worship Method)

The third avatar of Navadurga, Mother Chandraghanta, is worshipped on the third day of Navratri. Because Maa Chandraghanta wears Lord Shiva's half moon as a head ornament, she is known as Chandraghanta. Their skin is a really vivid gold color.

  • Install the mother's idol on a wooden post on this day after you've finished bathing and other activities.
  • Offer Maa Chandraghanta incense, a light, Roli, sandalwood, and Akshat. The mother should be given red flowers and red apples.
  • Milk or milk dessert should be served to Maa Chandraghanta.
  • After that, recite Durga Saptashati before beginning to chant Mother Chandraghanta's mantras.
