Maa Mahagauri Puja Vidhi(Worship Method)
- Om Devi Mahagauryai Namah, the mother's protection mantra, should be chanted on this day, and red Chunari(Cloth) should be presented to the mother.

- Spread a blood-red cloth on a wooden stake before offering vermilion and grains to the mother's image or deity.

- Keep white flowers in your hands as you think about the mother, then give them to her and do the proper respect.
Things made of coconut or containing coconut are offered to Goddess Mahagauri during Ashtami.
