2022 Maa Mahagauri Muhurat, Mantra and Puja Vidhi - Navratri 8th day

Maa Mahagauri Navratri 8th day 2022: Ashtami Tithi or Mahashtami Vrat is observed on the eighth day of Navratri. Today, they worship Goddess Mahagauri, the eighth avatar of Navdurga. Hindu mythology portrays Goddess Shailputri as having a fair complexion and being highly attractive at the age of 16. This day's goddess devotion reflects the concept.

The 10 Mahavidyas and the nine forms of the mother are all incarnations of Adishakti, according to the Devi Bhagwat Purana. But Mahadev, who is Mahagauri's consort, always resides with him. By awakening Somchakra via worship of Maa Durga in this form, all tasks that seem unachievable are made achievable. On this day, Kanya Puja is held in the majority of the homes, and some people worship Kanya after saying Navami prayers.

Maa Mahagauri Muhurat(Timing)

The Durga Ashtami will begin on October 2 at 6:47 PM and end on October 3 at 4:37 PM. The Sandhi Puja is held from 04:13 to 05:01 PM.

Maa Mahagauri Puja Vidhi(Worship Method)

As with the whole of Navratri, Ashtami Tithi is a day of worship. According to the traditional manner, Ashtami Tithi should be observed as a day of worship for Mother, just as Saptami Tithi is.

  • Om Devi Mahagauryai Namah, the mother's protection mantra, should be chanted on this day, and red Chunari(Cloth) should be presented to the mother.
  • Those who are praising the girl should also give the girl a red Chunari at the same time.
  • Spread a blood-red cloth on a wooden stake before offering vermilion and grains to the mother's image or deity.
  • On this day, worship Maa Durga in addition to preserving her Yantra. Mother is thought to endow her worshipers with glowing beauty.
  • Keep white flowers in your hands as you think about the mother, then give them to her and do the proper respect.

Things made of coconut or containing coconut are offered to Goddess Mahagauri during Ashtami. Deliver the coconut to the Brahmin after the Bhog has been offered, and he will then give it to the worshippers as prasad. On this day, those who worship the daughter first offer the mother pudding, vegetables, and black Gramme before worshipping the girl. Some people also worship Kanya on Navami Day, although Ashtami Day is the greatest day to do so. It is ideal if there are nine girls, but two girls can also participate in worship.
