Ghatasthapana Puja Requirements

  • Mud or copper pot with of big mouth is used for establishing God on it.
  • A Kalash is made up of mud or copper.
  • Soil, sand, and seven types of grains.
  • Image or an idol of Goddess Shakti and Goddess Durga.
  • Yantra, Flowers, Water.
  • Sandalwood paste for tilak.
  • Durva (grass) is used to sprinkle water during puja.
  • The mixer of rice and turmeric powder.
  • A Betel nut, Gold coin, and other normal pooja items
  • Seven grains[ Barley (Jau), Sesame (Til), Rice (Dhan), Moon bean, Green Gram (Moong), Foxtail Millet (Kangani), and Chickpea (Chana) ]

Ghatasthapana Puja Vidhi (Worship Method)

  • Show the lamp first to the Kalash and all the gods it has invoked.
  • Light dhoop sticks and offer them to the Kalash after the lamp offering, then give him flowers and incense.
  • To finish the Panchopachara Puja, give the Kalash Naivedhya, or fruits and treats.
